Strategy, storytelling, and practical support
for creatives, small businesses, and organizations.
I help creatives, small business owners, and organizations turn ideas into sustainable, meaningful work
without losing the heart of what makes those ideas matter.
I’m a lawyer, writer, artist, and creative entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience building programs, businesses, and cultural projects at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and community.
Before founding Dini’s Divine Pies, I served as a chief attorney at Maryland Legal Aid, where I led teams of attorneys and staff, managed complex operations, and helped shape organizational strategy. I also co-chaired strategic planning workgroups focused on storytelling and its role in advocacy, marketing, and development. In that work, storytelling was used to clarify mission, strengthen public engagement, and support organizational growth.
Alongside my legal and leadership work, I am an award-winning writer and artist and a two-time recipient of Montgomery County Arts and Humanities Council Individual Artist grants. I am the founding editor of Origins Journal, a literary journal created to amplify underrepresented voices and make diversity the norm in publishing. I also created and facilitated the Solana Writer’s Retreat in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, a space designed to support writers in deepening their practice and moving work forward.
Across disciplines, storytelling has been a core tool in my work. I use it not as branding polish, but as a way to make ideas coherent, human, and actionable. I help individuals and organizations articulate what they are building, why it matters, and how to communicate that clearly to the people they want to reach.
“Dini has a way of actively listening with care, keeping the heart of my work in mind. She not only addressed the questions and needs I brought to her, but she intuited strategies and suggestions that I had not thought of.”

Press Play on Your Creative Ideas
Tuesday, March 3, 2026, 7 - 8:30pm ET
Press Play on Your Creative Ideas is a live, interactive online workshop for anyone carrying an idea they want to move forward. Writers, creatives, and small business owners are welcome, as is anyone who keeps returning to an idea but has not yet acted on it or feels stalled.
The workshop focuses on the space between inspiration and execution. Participants explore why ideas stall, how fear and perfectionism interfere with momentum, and how to move forward in a way that feels practical and aligned.
The workshop draws on my experience designing and facilitating creative programs, including the Solana Writer’s Retreat in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Participants leave with clarity around one idea, a concrete set of next steps, and tools they can apply to future projects.
This workshop is well suited for anyone beginning something new or revisiting an idea they have been carrying for a long time.
Cost: $85
Limited to 10 participants
Live online workshop. Recording available for a limited time.
