You’ve Been Part of the Story. Here’s the Next Chapter.

.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support, encouragement, and love for these pies have carried me through one of the most meaningful chapters of my life.

A small friends-and-family support round is underway to help lay the groundwork for a future pie café. Contributions are optional and this page exists for those who have asked how to support.

The Vision

I’ve begun planning for a small pie café that will feel like an extension of a family kitchen, a farm table in a field at sunset, a rooftop nook overlooking my favorite mountains in Mexico.

It will be a place where you can stop in for a slice, pick up a pie for home, or settle in with coffee or a glass of wine.

I want it to be a space rooted in warmth, community, and genuine connection. A place where stories are shared, conversations unfold, and people feel welcomed.

This café is the next step for Dini’s Divine Pies. It will allow us to bake with more consistency, scale thoughtfully, offer new flavors and seasonal menus, and create a space that’s intimate and community-centered.

And there will be art, music, poetry, and stories galore, if I have anything to say about it. Which I do. Because… well… haha.

The Goal

My goal is to raise $25,000 to help with the build-out and opening costs of the café.

FAQs

What is this Friends and Family raise for?

This small round of support will help cover the build-out and opening costs of the pie café. These early funds bridge the gap as I work with investors, secure a lease, design the space, and prepare for opening day.

Why are you raising funds this way?

I wanted to personally invite friends, family, and customers to be part of this next step. I considered a Kickstarter campaign, but there are limitations, such as, if I don’t meet my fundraising goal within a specified period of time, all of the money raised is returned to the donors. This method allows me to raise the money on a more flexible timeline and without the administrative fees crowdfunding platforms charge.

Is this an investment?

No. This is not an equity investment and does not come with ownership. It is a support-based contribution similar to a Kickstarter. You receive perks, and your contribution goes directly toward opening the café.

Will there be larger investors too?

Yes. I’ve already brought on a few early investors who believe in this vision, and I’m continuing those conversations. This Friends and Family raise helps me move forward while those pieces come together.

What will the funds be used for?

Funds will go toward build-out costs, permitting, design work, equipment, initial staffing, and the many expenses that come with opening a small brick and mortar.

Is there a deadline?

I don’t have a strict deadline, but my goal is to gather support over the next month or so.

What is a Pie Card?

A Pie Card is a simple digital or physical note from me that you can redeem for a slice or a pie, depending on your tier. It functions like a gift certificate.

You can redeem it any time once the café opens.

What if I want to support but can’t give right now?

Your presence, encouragement, and enthusiasm mean just as much. There’s no pressure at all!

Thank you for being part of this story and for helping bring the café to life. Your presence, your encouragement, and your belief in what I’m building means more than you know.
Love, Dini
